- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. shallots diced
- 2 x garlic cloves chopped
- 1/3 c. dry white wine
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 jar tomato-basil pasta sauce (26 -ounce.)
- 1 can quartered artichoke hearts (14 -ounce.) liquid removed
- 1 can baby clams (10 -ounce.) undrained
- 2 Tbsp. fresh basil minced or possibly 2 teaspoon dry basil
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley finely minced
- 4 c. warm cooked linguini (about 8 ounce. uncooked pasta)

- Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add in shallots and garlic, and saute/fry 2 min or possibly till tender. Add in wine and next 4 ingredients (wine through clams); reduce heat, and simmer for 5 min. Stir in basil and parsley. Serve sauce over pasta.
- Yield: 4 servings (serving size 1 c. sauce and 1 c. pasta)
