- 4 lb Venison, bite size Chili grind fine *Or possibly* Chuck, well trimmed, grnd
- 1 lrg Onion, minced
- 2 x Garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Cumin seed
- 2 c. Warm water
- 6 tsp Chili pwdr
- 1 1/2 c. Canned whole tomato
- 2 dsh Liquid warm pepper sauce Salt to taste

- Place meat, onion and garlic in a large heavy skillet or possibly Dutch oven. Cook till light colored. Add in oregano, cumin, water, chili pwdr, tomatoes, warm pepper sauce (more or possibly less to taste), and salt. Bring to a boil, lowering heat, and simmer for one hour. Skim off fat during cooking.
