2Â 1/2 lb Pot roast
2 lrg onions
1 x Clove garlic
1/2 c. Clear stock
1/3 c. Raisins
1 x Bay leaf
2 Tbsp. Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Dark brown sugar
2 Tbsp. Ketchup

Инструкции

Brown beef on all sides in some fat in heavy pan. Add in onions and garlic, diced, and brown. Add in stock and bay leaf and simmer 1 hr , covered tightly. Add in more stock if necessary. Add in ketchup, vinegar and sugar and simmer unil tender, adding raisins the last 15 min.
