- 2 med Onions, roasted, sliced
- 1/4 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 1 can (31-ounce) whole tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (6-ounce) tomato paste
- 1Â 1/2 Tbsp. Dry parsley
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 1Â 1/2 tsp Oregano
- 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp Basil
- 3/8 tsp Pepper
- 3/4 tsp Baking soda

- To roast onions, cook whole onions in microwave 3 to 4 minutes., till soft.
- Peel and slice. Combine all ingredients in large saucepan. Chop tomatoes coarsely. Simmer 30 minutes.
- Makes 4 c., sufficient for two large pizzas.
- We often make pizzas with a loaf of French bread sliced lengthwise. Top with sauce, mushrooms, peppers, broccoli (nuke peppers and broccoli a bit first), and non-fat cheese. Quite yummy.
