  • 2 c. water
  • 4 ounce canned diced green chiles
  • 15 1/4 ounce canned whole kernel corn, liquid removed
  • 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

  2. MAKES 6 TO 8 SERVINGS
  3. 1. In a 3 1/2- or possibly 4-qt electric slow cooker, combine the undrained spinach, rice, undiluted soup, water, chiles, corn, and garlic pwdr. Mix well.
  4. 2. Cover and cook on the high heat setting 2 to 21/4 hrs, or possibly just till the rice is tender but not mushy.
  5. 3. Sprinkle the cheese on top, cover, and cook 5 min longer, or possibly till the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
