- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 4 x garlic cloves coarsely minced
- 1 can (28oz) tomatoes (crushed)
- 1 c. water
- 3/4 c. fresh parsley minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dry oregano
- 1 tsp garlic pwdr

- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat; add in the garlic and saute/fry till golden brown. Allow to cold slightly to avoid splattering, then add in the tomatoes and water and bring to a rapid boil. Add in the remaining ingredients, reduce the heat to medium, and cook for 10 more min, stirring occasionally.
- NOTES : Mr. Food says: "You can add in sausage, fennel, anchovies, or possibly fresh onions, bell peppers, or possibly basil along with the tomatoes. Make it your own!"
- Yield: About 4 c. (sufficient for 1-2 pounds of pasta)
