- 4 slices bacon, cut 1 inch pcs
- 4 sm. onions, peeled, quartered and sliced
- 1 c. thinly sliced celery
- 2 lg. potatoes, pared and cubed (2 c.)
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dry thyme, crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (8 ounce.) bottle clam juice
- 1 c. water
- 1 (16 ounce.) pkg. frzn cod, thawed and cut 3/4 inch
- 1 c. (28 ounce.) tomatoes
Инструкции
- Saute/fry bacon till crisp, drain. Stir onions and celery into drippings; saute/fry till soft. Stir in potatoes, garlic, thyme, salt, clam juice and water. Heat to boiling. Cover. Simmer 10 min. Add in cod cubes, cover. Simmer 5 min. Stir in tomatoes and heat slowly. Simmer 5 min. Top with crisp bacon.
