- 1 x 27 oz can sauerkraut rinsed and liquid removed
- 1 sm head cabbage thinly sliced
- 1 med onion diced
- 2 x apples peeled and diced
- 1 1/2 tsp caraway seeds
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
Инструкции
- In a slow cooker, layer the liquid removed kraut with sliced cabbage, onion and apples. Sprinkle each layer with caraway seeds and sugars. Pour bacon drippings over the top.
- Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 8 to 10 hrs (on high for 3 hrs). Stir well before serving with roast pork and potatoes.
