- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 pound peeled raw shrimp
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 2 tbsp. chopped parsley">parsley or possibly parsley">parsley flakes
- 1 c. water
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 (8 ounce.) tomato sauce
Инструкции
- Heat shortening in skillet. Add in flour. Stir till golden on high fire. Lower heat. Add in shrimp. Cook till shrimp turn pink (approximately 3 min). Add in seasonings (garlic, onion, and parsley). Cook approximately 2 min. Raise heat. Gradually add in water, and then remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Simmer covered for 20 to 30 min. Serve over rice.
