- 1 lb fresh asparagus or possibly 10 ounce frzn
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 x clove garlic crushed
- 1/4 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 c. minced green onions
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 c. long-grain white rice
Инструкции
- Cut asparagus diagonally into 2 inch lengths, keeping bottom ends seperate.
- Heat oil in wok or possibly Dutch oven (non-stick). Add in garlic, ginger and asparagus bottoms. Stir-fry 1 minute. Add in remaining asparagus; stir-fry 2 min. Remove asparagus and set aside. Add in broth, green onions, soy sauce, and sugar. Bring to a boil; stir in rice. Cover; reduce heat to low and simmer 15 min. Add in asparagus; cook 5 more min.
- Makes 5cups.
