- 1 x Kielbasa or possibly Polish sausage
- 1 lrg onion sliced
- 4 c. shredded red cabbage
- 1 can pie sliced apples - (20 ounce)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1/4 tsp caraway seeds (optional)
- 1 x bay leaf
- 1/2 c. beer
- 1 can condensed chicken broth
Инструкции
- Score kielbasa and put into cooker. Layer onion, cabbage and apples, sprinkling each with salt and pepper and caraway seeds. Add in bay leaf. Pour beer and chicken broth over all. Cover and cook on LOW 6 hrs or possibly HIGH 3 hrs, or possibly till cabbage is tender.
- Remove bay leaf before serving. Spoon the vegetables into a heated casserole and top with the cooked sausage.
