- Place onion in 2 c. water. Boil 10-20 min. Remove onion from water.
- Add in raisins to butter and heat. Add in rice to warm butter and raisins. Stir mix constantly till rice is browned. Add in peas (if frzn, thaw first).
- Add in the water minus onion. Bring to boil. Simmer 5 min in covered pan.
- If any liquid remains, simmer uncovered till liquid is gone.
