- 3 med onions
- 2 med green peppers
- 2 lrg stalks celery
- 2 x Cloves garlic
- 1 sm Jalapeno pepper,
- Fresh, seeded & diced
- 8 lb Lean chuck, coarsely grnd
- 7 ounce Diced green chiles
- 28 ounce Stewed tomatoes
- 15 ounce Tomato sauce
- 6 ounce Tomato paste
- 6 ounce Chili pwdr
- 2 Tbsp. Cumin
- Tabasco sauce to taste
- 12 ounce Beer, divided
- Into two portions
- 12 ounce Mineral water
- 3 x Bay leaves
- Garlic, salt
- And pepper to taste
Инструкции
- Dice and saute/fry the first five ingredients. Add in the meat and brown it.
- Add in the remaining ingredients, including half the beer (Annie sez to drink the remainder!). Add in water just to cover the top of the mix.
- Cook about 3 hrs on low heat, stirring often.
