- 8 lb Lean chuck, grnd
- 7 ounce Can diced green chilies
- 2 lrg Cans (14.5 ounce) stewed tomatoes
- 1 lrg -l5 ounce can tomato sauce
- 6 ounce -can tomato paste
- 6 ounce Bottled chili pwdr
- 2 Tbsp. Cumin pwdr
- Tabasco sauce to taste
- 12 ounce Can beer
- 12 ounce Bottle mineral water
- 2 x To 3 bay leaves
- Garlic salt to taste Salt to taste

- Dice and saute/fry first 5 ingredients. Add in meat and brown. Add in remaining ingredients, including half a can of beer. Add in water just to cover top.
- Cook about 3 hrs on low heat. Stir often. Remove bay leaves.
- Serves 16.
