Ингредиенты

  • 3 med onions
  • 2 med green peppers
  • 2 lrg stalks celery
  • 2 x Cloves garlic
  • 1 sm Jalapeno pepper,
  •     Fresh, seeded & diced
  • 8 lb Lean chuck, coarsely grnd
  • 7 ounce Diced green chiles
  • 28 ounce Stewed tomatoes
  • 15 ounce Tomato sauce
  • 6 ounce Tomato paste
  • 6 ounce Chili pwdr
  • 2 Tbsp. Cumin
  •     Tabasco sauce to taste
  • 12 ounce Beer, divided
  •     Into two portions
  • 12 ounce Mineral water
  • 3 x Bay leaves
  •     Garlic, salt
  •     And pepper to taste

Инструкции

  1. Dice and saute/fry the first five ingredients. Add in the meat and brown it.
  2. Add in the remaining ingredients, including half the beer (Annie sez to drink the remainder!). Add in water just to cover the top of the mix.
  3. Cook about 3 hrs on low heat, stirring often.
