- 2 c. Minced unpeeled red apple
- 2 Tbsp. Orange zest
- 3 c. Canned, liquid removed mandarin oranges
- 2 Tbsp. Minced red bell pepper
- 5 c. Shredded cabbage
- 12 x Calendula flowers, washed and dry
- 3/4 c. Lowfat sour cream
- 1/4 c. Mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Honey
- 1/2 tsp Mustard
- 1/2 tsp Celery seed Salt and pepper

- Combine apple, zest, oranges, and bell pepper with cabbage in a large bowl.
- Remove petals and add in to salad.
- Blend remaining ingredients and pour over slaw. Toss lightly. Taste and adjust seasonings. Refrigeratethoroughly. Garnish with whole candula blossoms before serving.
