- 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 x (6-oz) cans albacore tuna, liquid removed
- 1/4 lrg ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and diced to make about 1/2 c.
- 1 Tbsp. chopped shallot
- 2 Tbsp. minced celery
- 1/2 tsp finely minced fresh basil leaves

- In small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and mustard. Season with salt and pepper.
- In large bowl, add in tuna and break into small pcs with back of fork. Add in avocado, shallot, celery, basil and dressing. Stir to combine. Chill till ready to serve or possibly stuff in tomatoes. - From Daniel Boulud, Restaurant Daniel
- Makes 4 servings, or possibly sufficient to generously fill 2 large beefsteak tomatoes
