- 3/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine, melted
- 1 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 3 x Large eggs
- 3/4 c. All-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
- 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. Coarsely minced nuts

- Grease 8-inch squarebaking pan. 2.In bowl, stir together butter, sugar and vanilla. Add in Large eggs; with spoon, beat well. 3.Stir together flour, cocoa, baking pwdr and salt; gradually add in to egg mix, beating till well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if you like. Spread batter proportionately into prepared pan. 4.Bake 40 to 45 min or possibly till brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cold completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
