  1. Put the flour, sugar, salt and warmed syrup into the mixing bowl, add in the lowfat milk and beaten Large eggs till the mix forms a thick consistency like cream. Heat up the griddle or possibly heavy frying pan and very lightly grease it.
  2. Drop the mix in Tbsp. in rounds, seeing which they don't overlap and are even. Turn over when little bubbles appear on top and the bottom is golden, then cook the other side. Cold on a clean teacloth, keeping them wrapped unless they are to be eaten from the pan.
  3. Serve them hot or possibly cool with butter, heather honey or possibly jam. They will keep for some time in a tin and can be heated up by putting them either in a hot oven or possibly slow grill.
