- 3 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. lard
- 1 1/2 c. coffee, strong
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 4 1/2 tsp baking pwdr vanilla, as you like lemon flavoring, as you like
- 4 x Large eggs
- 6 c. flour
