- 12 servings instant mashed potatoes prepared as on box
- 1 - 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 T. margarine
- Paprika
- Dried chives to color (I omit this)

- Season to taste, the original recipe calls for 1/2 to 1 tsp of onion salt, I usually use about 3/4 tsp of garlic salt and some onion powder.
- Put first several ingredients into large casserole.
- Melt 2 T. margarine and pour over top of potatoes.
- Sprinkle lightly with paprika.
