- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 2 c. Boiling water
- 1/2 c. Maple syrup
- 6 slc Toasted bread, buttered and cut into 1 inch pcs
- 3/4 c. Raisins (150 gm)
- 1 c. Grated sharp cheddar cheese (1 pkt nilgiris cheddar)
Инструкции
- 1. Place sugar in a heavy pan. Stir sugar, at low heat, till it is liquified and light, golden.
- 2. Add in water and stir constantly till sugar is dissolved. Add in syrup and simmer for 2-3 min.
- 3. Layer bread, raisins, and cheese in a 1 1/2 qt buttered casserole dish. Pour warm syrop over mix and top with cheese.
- 4. Cover dish and bake in a 350F oven for 20-30 min.
