Рецепт BLT Pasta
Like they say, "everything's better with bacon!" This healthy pasta combines whole wheat penne pasta, spinach, tomatoes and turkey bacon into a healthy, hearty, family dinner that's put together in a snap.

- 1 lb. whole wheat penne pasta
- 3 T olive oil divided
- 9 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 15 oz. cans diced tomatoes
- 2 large bunches fresh spinach

- Bring a large pot of water to boil for the pasta. In a large skillet, heat 1 T oil over medium heat and cook the chopped bacon until crisp. Remove to paper towels to drain. Add pasta to boiling water and cook until al dente. Add garlic to the skillet with the bacon drippings and stir for 1 minute. Stir in tomatoes and cook until heated through. Place washed spinach in a colander in the sink. When the pasta is done drain the water into the colander over the spinach. This will wilt the spinach and drain the pasta at the same time. Transfer the contents of the colander to a large serving bowl and mix in the tomatoe sauce and crumbled bacon. Serve immediately.with crusty bread and a sliced fruit.
