- 1 can asparagus spears
- 6 slices stale bread
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 T prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. Sharp cheese, grated

- Butter dish well. Line with 1/2 the bread. Cover with half of the asparagus and half the grated cheese. Pour half the well beaten egg, lowfat milk, salt and mustard over the layer. Repeat and bake at 325 degrees for one hour or possibly till hard.
