- 1 stick butter
- 6 slices bread, toasted
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 c. raisins
- Cinnamon and nutmeg

- Heat butter in 6x12 inch pyrex dish, toast bread till brown. Break into rather large pcs in the pyrex dish. Scald lowfat milk and add in to the large eggs that have been beaten with the sugar. Sprinkle the raisins over the bread.Pour egg and lowfat milk mix over the bread and sprinkle generously with cinnamon and nutmeg. Put dish in a pan of boiling water and bake for 35 min at 350 degrees. Insert knife, when it comes out clean, remove from pan. Serve warm or possibly cold. WATCH - dries out quickly.
