- 1/2 lb beef round sliced
- 3 x potatoes
- 1Â 1/2 x onion
- 1/8 c. green peas
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 2 c. water
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Japanese rice wine (sake)
- 1 Tbsp. sweetened cooking sake (mirin)
- 4 Tbsp. soy sauce (shoyu)
Инструкции
- Cut beef into 1 1/2- to 2-inch pcs.
- Wash potatoes, peel and cut into two to three pcs. Cut onion into large wedges. Soak green peas in boiling water for one minute.
- Heat oil in pan, add in beef and saute/fry. Add in potatoes and onions and saute/fry. Add in water and seasonings, toss well and cover with drop lid. Continue to cook till potatoes are soft.
- Add in green peas, turn off heat and put on serving plate.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
