Ингредиенты
- 4 lb pork loin end roast - (to 5 lbs)
- Â Â Salt to taste
- Â Â Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 1 x garlic clove sliced
- 2 med onions sliced
- 2 x bay leaves
- 1 whl clove
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Инструкции
- Rub pork roast with salt and pepper. Make tiny slits in meat and insert slivers of garlic. Place roast in broiler pan and broil 15 to 20 min to remove excess fat.
- Put 1 sliced onion in bottom of crock pot. Add in browned pork roast and remaining onion and other ingredients. Cover and cook on LOW 10 to 12 hrs.
- To thicken gravy; remove roast to serving platter. Blend 2 Tbsp. cornstarch with 2 Tbsp. cool water to create a smooth paste. Set on high and pour in paste. Stir well and let come to a boil - about 15 min, till thickened. If the juices are watery, you may wish to first reduce on the stovetop for more flavor.
