- Cook 8-10 lb roast, till well done with 2 bay leaves and water. Mix Italian Good Seasons salad mix per package directions.Add in gravy packet to 3 cups cooking broth at a boil per directions. To broth add in mixed salad dressing. Check taste - salt and pepper if needed. Tear up beef roast and add in to juice. Simmer till tender. Serve on sub or possibly hoagie rolls with pepperoncinis.
