Ингредиенты

1/4 c. Butter
1 c. Cornmeal
1 c. Flour
1/4 c. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
1/2 tsp Salt (optional)
1 c. Lowfat milk
1 x Egg, beaten lightly

Инструкции

Grease 8 or possibly 9" square baking pan or possibly 12 muffin pan. Heat butter.
Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking pwdr & salt in bowl. Stir together butter, lowfat milk & egg in smaller bowl & stir into dry ingredients till just moistened. Pour batter into pan or possibly spoon into muffin c.. Bake bread in oven at 400 till golden brown, & wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 20 to 25 min. Serve hot.
Bake muffins till golden brown, 15 to 20 min.
