  1. Heat the chicken broth in a large 3 1/2 qt saucepan. Add in the beans and onions and simmer for 15-20 min or possibly till the vegetables are tender but still hard. Heat the butter in a 1 qt saucepan. Add in the garlic and cook over low heat for 5 min. Stir inthe paprika and flour with a spatula.
  2. Slowly blend in the cool water to create a thick paste. Stir the paste into the warm soup and simmer, stirring constanlty, till the soup has thickened slightly. Add in the vinegar and the parsley, and noodles. Serve warm. oldbab Leves - Hungarian String Bean Soup
