- 4 c. Self-raisning flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 60 gm Butter
- 1Â 1/2 c. Buttermilk
- 1/2 c. Water
- Â Â Extra flour, to dust
- Â Â Herb butter, to serve

- (1) Preheat oven to moderately warm 210c. Lightly grase a flat baking tray.
- Place flour, salt and butter into a bowl. Rub butter through flour till mix resembles fine breadcrumbs.
- (2) Add in the buttermilk and water, then mix to a dough. Knead into a ball on a floured surface, then flatten to a circle about 20cm in diameter. Mark a cross in the top and dust with flour. Bake for 40-45mins or possibly till damper sounds hollow when tapped. Serve with her butter.
