Рецепт Molasses Doughnuts (My Mom's)

Ингредиенты
- 3 x Large eggs
- 2 c. molasses
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c. sour lowfat milk or possibly buttermilk (tea or possibly coffee may be used in place of lowfat milk)
- 1 x heaping teaspoon baking soda
- Â Â Flour, sufficient to make a stiff dough, about 1 quart.

- In a large bowl, beat Large eggs well. Add in molasses, spices and salt. Blend. Stir soda into lowfat milk and add in to egg mix. Blend well. Add in 3 c. flour, mix well with wooden spoon, adding more flour as needed to make a stiff dough. Refrigerate1 hour or possibly overnight. Roll out to 1/4 " thickness. Cut out with doughnut cutter.
- Fry in deep fat at 375 degrees.
