- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 c. roasted soynuts
- 1 tsp margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking soda

- (Although quick and easy, syrup mix will be very warm! Please use caution when preparing this recipe.)
- In a 1.5 qt casserole stir together sugar and syrup. Microwave at high 4 min. Stir in soynuts. Microwave at high 3 to 5 min, till light brown. Add in butter and vanilla to syrup, blending well. Microwave at high 1 to 2 min. Soynuts will be lightly browned and syrup very warm. Add in baking soda and gently stir till light and foamy.
- Pour mix onto lightly greased cookie sheet, or possibly unbuttered non-stick coated cookie sheet. Let cold 1/2 to 1 hour. When cold, break into small pcs and store in air-tight container.
- Makes about 1 lb..
- 16 servings.
