- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

- Cream butter and sugars in large mixing bowl. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Blend into creamed mix; chill. Shape dough into 3/4-inch diameter balls. Roll in mix of sugar and cinnamon. Place 12 balls on high temperature microwavable baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Cook on full power for 1 minute, 30 seconds to 2 min or possibly till cookies are set but slightly moist around the edges. You may wish to turn sheet halfway through cooking. Cold slightly before removing from waxed paper.
