- 16 Cups popped corn (about 2 microwave bags)
- Coating:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 stick butter/margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Инструкции
- Put popped corn in large paper grocery bag.
- Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and butter/margarine and salt in a bowl.
- Microwave on high 1-2 minutes or until bubbly.
- Boil 3 minutes, stirring after each minute.
- Add baking soda and vanilla.
- Stir well (this will foam up).
- Shake mixture and popcorn in the bag.
- Fold bag down and microwave on high 1 minute.
- Shake well.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute more.
- Shake well.
- Microwave on high for 30 seconds.
- Shake well.
- Pour onto 2 cookie sheets. Let cool.
- Store in airtight container.
