- 2 tsp vanilla

- 2 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- Garnish: powdered sugar

- With an electric mixer on medium speed, blend together the butter and the powdered sugar.
- Add the vanilla, water, and the flour.
- Stir in the pecans.
- Shape the dough in walnut-size balls.
- Arrange on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 300 F for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven.
- While the cookies are still hot, roll in the additional powdered sugar.
- When cool, roll againin the powdered sugar
