    Do not use conversion charts, only for personal references. Buy yourself some good Metric Cups and Spoons and use them, instead of the 'American' cups and spoons.
    A Metric Cup is 250 mL
    A Metric Tablespoon is 15 mL
    Use 500 g for every one pound
    You will make 10% more then the 'American' recipe because Metric kitchen units are bigger.
    Stop using antiquated Imperial units.
