- 1 c. Butter or possibly margarine, softened
- 1 c. Brown sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1 c. Maple syrup
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 4 c. All-purpose flour White sugar

- Directions: a 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets. a 2In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar. Add in the egg, syrup and vanilla. Mix till well blended. a 3Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda. Stir into mix till well blended. a 4Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheets about 2 inches apart and flatten slightly. Bake 8 to 10 min. Let cold on wire rack.
