Ингредиенты
- 1 baked 8 inch pastry pie shell, cooled
- 1 1/3 c. (15 ounce. can) Eagle Brand sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- 2 squares (2 ounce.) unsweetened chocolate
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. Borden's heavy cream, whipped
Инструкции
- 1. In top of double boiler put Eagle Brand sweetened condensed lowfat milk, chocolate and salt. Heat over rapidly boiling water, stirring constantly, till mix is very thick.
- 2. Gradually stir in water, keeping mix smooth. Continue cooking, stirring often, till mix thickens. Remove from heat.
- 3. Stir in vanilla extract.
- 4. Pour into pie shell. Cold at room temperature about 1/2 hour. Chill at least 3 hrs.
- 5. Just before serving garnish with whipped cream.
- If glassware double boiler is used, cover and continue to cook mix, without stirring, till thickened.
