  1. In a heavy 2-qt saucepan over high heat, combine the peppers, jalapenos, sugar, and vinegar and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 20 min, stirring every 5 min. Be careful not to let the mix boil over.
  2. Turn off the heat and add in the pectin, mixing well. Turn the heat on again to high and cook till the mix comes back to a boil. Pour into sterilized jars and seal according to the manufacturer's directions.
  3. This recipe yields about 6 c..
