- In a heavy 2-qt saucepan over high heat, combine the peppers, jalapenos, sugar, and vinegar and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 20 min, stirring every 5 min. Be careful not to let the mix boil over.
- Turn off the heat and add in the pectin, mixing well. Turn the heat on again to high and cook till the mix comes back to a boil. Pour into sterilized jars and seal according to the manufacturer's directions.
