- 12 ounce. uncooked macaroni
- Flour
- 1 stick butter
- 1 pound sharp N.Y. cheddar cheese (white)
- Lowfat milk

- Cook macaroni as directed. Shred cheese, once macaroni is cooked, in large casserole dish, layer macaroni. Then sprinkle flour to lightly cover macaroni then dot with butter then cheese. Keep layering usually 2 layers, 3rd layer just flour and butter. Add in lowfat milk till you can just see it. Bake in oven 350 degrees for 45 min.
- While baking, tear up bread. Heat 1/4 c. butter in pan. Sprinkle with Italian seasonings and garlic salt. After 45 min sprinkle top of macaroni and cheese with bread crumbs. Bake till crumbs are brown.
- For something different steam broccoli. Slice 1 package kielbasi and brown. When layering, layer with each of the 2 ingredients. It's great.
