- 2 c. applesauce
- 1 c. coarse graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 2/3 c. minced nuts or possibly rolled oats & wheat germ
- Sweetened whipped cream or possibly whipped topping

- Place applesauce in bottom of a buttered nine-inch square baking dish or possibly other shallow wide dish. Mix cracker crumbs, brown sugar, butter and nuts together till mix is crumbly. Sprinkle proportionately over applesauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 20 min or possibly till lightly browned on top. Serve hot with sweetened whipped cream or possibly whipped topping. Makes about 6 servings.
