- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper
- 2 c. minced cooked ham
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (28 ounce.) can whole tomatoes, undrained and minced
- 1 (7 ounce.) pkg. spaghetti, cooked and liquid removed
- 1 c. (4 ounce.) shredded Cheddar cheese

- Cook bacon in a large skillet till crisp; remove bacon, reserving 1 to 2 Tbsp. drippings in skillet. Drain bacon on paper towels; crumble and set aside. Saute/fry onion and green pepper in reserved drippings in skillet till vegetables are tender. Add in ham and cook till lightly browned. Add in garlic and tomatoes; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 min, stirring occasionally.
- Stir cooked spaghetti into ham mix, and sprinkle with cheese. Simmer, uncovered, 10 min. Sprinkle spaghetti with bacon before serving. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
