Ингредиенты
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp baking pwdr
- 3 whl Large eggs
- 4 x egg yolks
- 3 Tbsp. Nocello (walnut) liqueur
- 1/2 c. minced green walnuts
Инструкции
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the flour, sugar and baking pwdr. In a separate bowl, whisk together the Large eggs, yolks, and Nocello. Add in the wet ingredients to the dry and stir just till the dough comes together, about 1 minute. Add in the walnuts and mix till just incorporated.
- Roll the dough into 3 logs, about 10 inches by 2 inches and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 20 min till light golden and remove from oven.
- As soon as they are cold sufficient to handle, cut the logs on a slight diagonal into pcs 1/3-inch thick and arrange, cut-side down, on the sheets.
- Reduce the heat to 275 degrees, return the pcs to the oven and bake 20 min longer, till crisp and dry. Allow to cold.
- This recipe yields about 30 cookies.
