- 1 c. Unbleached all purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) chilled unsalted butter, cut into pcs
- 2 lrg egg yolks, beaten to blend
Инструкции
- Combine first 3 ingredients in bowl; stir to blend. Add in butter and cut in, using pastry blender or possibly fingertips, till mix resembles coarse meal.
- Add in yolks; stir with fork till moist clumps form. Gather dough into ball; flatten into disk. Wrap dough in plastic; refrigeratetill hard, about 30 min. (Can be made 3 days ahead. Keep chilled. Let soften slightly at room temperature before using.)
