- 3/4 c. Shortening
- 1 c. Brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 1/4 c. Water
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 c. Oats uncooked
- 1 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Soda
Инструкции
- Beat together shortening, sugars, eegg, eater and vanilla till creamy.
- Add in combined remaining ingredients; mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls ontio greased coookie sheet. Bake in preheated moderate oven (350 deg) for 12 to 15 min. (For variety add in minced nuts, raisins, choc. chips or possibly cooconut)
- Makes about 5 dozen cookies. Recipe - very old from an oatmeal box.
