- Heat butter. Stir in brown sugar and bring to a boil, reduce heat, cook 2 min, stirring constantly. Add in lowfat milk, return to boil. Remove from heat. Cool to room temperature, using a wooden spoon beat sugar into cooled butter mix till blended and smooth. Stir in pecans. Press in an 8" square greased pan. Chill till hard. Cut in squares.
