- 1/4 c. melted butter or possibly canola oil
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar - (packed)
- 3 c. old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 c. wheat bran cereal
- 1/4 c. raw sunflower seeds
- 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/3 c. wheat germ
- 1/3 c. sliced almonds
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 c. dry blueberries - (4 ounce)

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a 13- by 9- by 2-inch baking pan, stir together butter (or possibly oil), honey and brown sugar. Fold in oats, bran cereal, sunflower seeds and cinnamon.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15 min, stirring every 5 min.
- Stir in wheat germ, almonds, almond and vanilla extracts. Bake for 10 min or possibly till golden.
- Remove from oven and immediately stir in dry blueberries. Allow mix to cold thoroughly before storing.
- This recipe yields 5 1/3 c. granola.
