- 1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
- 1/4 c. finely minced walnuts
- 4 1/2 tsp sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/4 c. cool butter or possibly margarine
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1/3 c. whipping cream
- 1/4 c. buttermilk (scant)

- In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients; cut in butter till the mix resembles coarse crumbs ( I do this part in the food processor). Combine Large eggs and cream; stir into dry ingredients just till moistened. Turn onto a floured surface; gently pat into a 7 inch circle, 3/4 inch thick. Cut into eight wedges, separate slightly. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Brush tops with buttermilk, sprinkle with a cinnamon and sugar mix. Let rest for 15 min. Bake at 450 degrees for 14-16 min or possibly till golden.
